Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Bobby H. Raley, age 60 of Mitchell, Georgia who died Monday, January 25, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2016 at Friendship Baptist Church in Mitchell, Georgia with Rev. Rick Carver officiating.
A native of Charleston, SC, Bobby was the son of the late Hugh Raley, Jr. and Lillie Kitchens Raley. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and enjoyed woodworking, painting and drawing. Mr. Raley was a kind hearted gentle man who will be deeply missed.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, granddaughter; Emily Lee Cobb, and father-in-law; Olin David Parnell and is survived by his loving wife; Donnie Sue Raley of Mitchell, mother; Lillie K. Raley, children; Bobby Raley, Jr. and April Lee Raley, step-son; Edward Ray (Lori) Parnell, step-daughter; Tammy Lynn (Mike) Coulter, grandchildren; Joshua Parnell, Lane Howard Stone, Tyler Parnell, Jacob Parnell and Courtney Lynn Coulter, brother; Sterling Raley, mother-in-law; Donnie O. Parnell, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, if so desired, memorials may be made to the Glascock County Cancer Foundation, 412 Logue Avenue, Gibson, Georgia 30810.
