Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Catharine Clements Ross, age 79 of Sugar Land, TX formerly of Wrens, Georgia who died Thursday July 23, 2015.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday in the Louisville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bill Cain officiating. Pallbearers will be: Brandon Ross, Patrick Peeler, Josh Peeler, Joel Clark, Jerry Clark & Randy Williams. Interment will follow in the Ways Baptist Church Cemetery in Stellaville.

A native of Wrens, GA Catharine the first child of Alma Frances and John Robert Clements.  She attended schools in Wrens, graduating from Wrens High School in 1954. On December 18, 1954 she married the love of her life Robert Jordan Ross at Trinity Methodist Church in Warren, Ariz.  Catharine loved gardening, loved flowers, and loved beauty.  She was a friend of so many people, a spirit of kindness to them, a source of wisdom to her husband, a cheerful and delightful hostess and dinner companion, a great dancer, a mother who delighted in her sons and their families, a diarist, a model of feminine strength, virtue and faithfulness.

Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her parents John Robert Clements & Alma Frances Clements and a brother Ben Clements and is survived by beloved husband Robert Jordan Ross, 2 sons & daughters in-law, Derek & Susan Ross, Jordan & Linda Ross, 3 grandchildren, Gina, Brandon and Justin and 3 great-granddaughters, Alyssa, Emma and Julia, sisters & brother in-law Marian & Mack Peeler, Betty Clements, brothers & sisters in-law Robert & Sylvia Clements, Fay & Pat Clements & Ray Clements, several nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be a reception in the fellowship of Ways Baptist Church following the interments services.  

Taylor Funeral Home, 401 West 8th street, Louisville, is in charge of arrangements.
