Lena (Pate) Patton

Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Lena Patton, age 73 of Bostic Mill Road, Wadley, who died Thursday morning, November 10, 2016 in Vero Health & Rehab of Wadley.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 13, 2016 in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch Vaughn officiating.  Burial will follow in the Moxley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be:  Kalein Bryant, Cody Stapleton, Nick Farrer, Tommy Dye, Bryan Dye and Rusty Pate.

A native of Louisville, Mrs. Patton was a daughter of the late Russell Pate, Sr. and Alleen Markins Pate.  She had worked 20 plus years as an assembly line worker for Thermo King and was a member of Shekinah Church. 

Lena was preceded in death by her husband, William Eldren Patton (Butch) and son, Mike Patton and is survived by her daughter, Debbie McManus and Donald of Stapleton; daughter in law, Tammy Patton of Wadley; brother, Russell Pate, Jr. of Wadley; sister, Teresa & Billy Horton of Buford, SC; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Patton family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, November 12, 2016 in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Food Pantry.
