Austin Bayne Kelley

Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Austin Bayne Kelley, age 27 of Gibson who tragically passed away Sunday November 11, 2018 in an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday November 16, 2018 in the Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Mary Griswell & Rev. Tommy Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phillip Raley, Quinton McGahee, Tyler Phillips, Thomas Davis, Stevie Williams, and Hunter Gray. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ryan Phillips, Justin McGahee, Hunter Garnto, Brogan Peters, Donald Palmer, Gus Jones, Chris Hayes, Mitch Raley, Franklin Palmer & Bobby Williams.

Bayne was a lifelong residence of Gibson, the only son of Gregg & Renae Kelley. He was the Valedictorian and Star Student of his graduating class of 2009 from Glascock County Consolidated School. He graduated from Augusta State University with a degree in Biology and was employed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture as a meat inspector. Bayne was an avid outdoorsman and his greatest passion and love was farming. He was a member of Briar Creek Ducks Unlimited, McDuffie-Warren NWTF, and a lifetime member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

Bayne is survived by his parents, Gregg & Renae Kelley, of Gibson, fiancé, Jenna Brown of Waynesboro, maternal grandparents, Charles & Elizabeth Hadden, of Gibson, uncle & aunt, Scott & Paula Kelley, paternal grandfather, Jimmy Kelley of Edgehill, uncles & aunt, Anthony & Jodi Kelley, cousins, David, Catherine, Nolan & Jolee. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Catherine Kelley.

The Kelley family may be contacted at the home of his parents 585 East Main Street in Gibson and will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the Glascock County Consolidated School, 1230 Panther Way Gibson, GA.
