Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Carolyn T. Cooper, age 77, of Louisville, GA, who passed away the morning of Saturday, July 13, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 15, in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville with Rev. Edward Salter officiating. The family will receive friends and guests prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 at the funeral home and request that attendees dress casual.
Mrs. Cooper, daughter of the late Red and Myra Tanner, was a native and lifelong resident of Jefferson County. In her career, Mrs. Cooper worked in the cafeteria at Louisville Elementary school, served as a florist at Ruth’s Flower Shop, and provided daycare for many children in her home. Mrs. Cooper was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and father of her children Robert Grace, her second husband Hollis Cooper, and grandsons Gunner and Ryker. Mrs. Cooper is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Karyn (KK) and Brent Parker of North Augusta, SC, her son and daughter-in-law Clay and Salena Grace of Moxley, GA, her son Robbie Grace of Avera, GA, her sister Jane Wells of Moxley, GA, grandchildren Jessie Grace, Cassidy Grace, Carlee Grace, Haley Grace, Hannah Grace, Gray Parker, Price Parker, and Anna Grace Parker, her niece and husband Tesie and Mark Bowles, nephew and wife Sonny and Teresa Wells, great niece and husband Kristin and Stephen Kitchens, great nephew and wife Reid and Amber Wells, great nephew Ward Bowles, and great niece Emily Wells.
Mrs. Cooper will be laid to rest in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Louisville, GA.
