Taylor funeral home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Gail Dudley, age 74 of East Calhoun Street, Wadley, who died Sunday morning October 27, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 31, 2019 in the Moxley Methodist Church with Rev. David Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Wadley City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Joseph Chandler, Steven Rabun, Kyle Strickland, Paul Carroll, Josh McMillan & Jeffrey Chandler.
A resident of Wadley, Mrs. Gail was a daughter of the late Lamar Williford and Tommie Lucille Ezell Williford. She was a graduate of Wadley High School and a member of Moxley Methodist Church. She retired after 38 years of service from the Wadley Shirt Factory.
Mrs. Gail was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard Dudley, son Allen Dudley, sister Jewel Chandler, and is survived by a daughter and son in law, Sabrina Goetzka and Raymond of Wadley, daughter in law Terri Dudley, of Louisville, sisters; Annie Ruth Stevens of Moxley, Mabel McMillan of Tifton, Brenda Hall of Wadley, grandchildren; Maura Dudley, Jennifer Dudley, Hunter Larimore, Baylee Larimore, Michael George, Malory George, Sheena Larimore, Bessie Larimore, Chloe Larimore, Sarah Goetzka, Daniel Goetzka, many nieces, nephews and friends.
The Dudley family will gather at the home of Sabrina & Raymond Goetzka, 52 East Calhoun Street in Wadley.
Those desiring, in lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, In Memory Program, at 1235 South Clark Street, Suite 910, Arlington, VA 22202.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
