Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Ms. Jessika Lanaee Craft, age 31, who died Monday, May 27, 2019 in her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday May 31, in the Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Harwell officiating. Pallbearers will be Ron Craft, Scott Hobbs, Nick Craft, Lucas Craft, Scotty Hobbs and Tyler McCullough.
A native of Norman, OK, but a new resident of Gibson, Jessika was born in Lawton, OK on January 6, 1988 to Ronald Craft and Tabatha Carney formally Craft.
She was a 2009 graduate of Norman North High School where she was very active in
school activities on and off campus. Jessika was the schools social butterfly. She would always strive to do her best and to please everyone. Jessika served her community by ringing the bell for Salvation Army. Shopping for bags and purses was her forte, you could say she was a bit of a hoarder.
Jessika was quite the competitor when it came to racing her chair in the Oklahoma
Special Olympics. She won numerous Gold and Silver medals and also rolled a mean strike in bowling. During her 20-year competition she never meet a stranger nor left you without a smile. Jessika was an avid Oklahoma Sooner Football fan. Every game day you could bet on her wearing her crimson and white clothing.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Ronald Craft Sr., her grandmother Judy Dellipaoli, her uncle Steven Craft, her stepfather, Dan Carney and is survived by her mother Tabatha Carney and partner Scott Hobbs of Gibson, father Ronald Craft and partner Kathy Rust, of Ironton, OH, grandmother, Barbara Johnson, of Elgin, OK, grandfather Jerry Fortenberry of Barstow, CA, brother and sister in law Nick and Kathryn Craft, nephew, Lucas Craft, all of Norman, OK, numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
The Craft family will receive friends Friday May 31, from 12:00 -2:00 pm at the funeral home.
