Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Larry L. McGraw, age 74 of Davisboro, who died Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in the Vero Health and Rehabilitation of Wadley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the Coleman’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Mr. George Meadows and Mr. Joe Cheeks officiating. Mr. McGraw will lie in state from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers will be: Buford McGraw, Mitchell McGraw, Ross Davis, Rink Hallford, Allen Radford, Adam Harris and Kurt Young.
A native of Moxley, Georgia, Mr. McGraw was a son to the late Lake McGraw and Ann Smith McGraw. He was a graduate of Louisville High School and served in the U.S. Army He was a carpenter, farmer and a cattleman; he also attended the Nazarene Church.
Mr. McGraw was preceded in death by his parents; and is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Margaret Meadows McGraw, of Davisboro, son and daughter in law, Larry “Bubba” & Pam McGraw Jr. of Bartow, daughters and son in law; Diane & Allen Radford of Sandersville and Tracy Standridge of Knoxville, AR., stepson and step daughter in law, Raymond & Amanda Nipper of Wadley, step daughter, Cindy Davis of Davisboro, brother and sister in law, Harry “Crow” and Sarah McGraw of Wadley, sisters and brother in law, Barbara Ann & Reggie Evans of Soperton, Yvonne & John Sligar of Grovetown, Kathy Gabor or Augusta, 10 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, October 5, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Coleman Chapel Church and Cemetery Fund, c/o Ruth Paul, 7118 River Road, Wadley, Georgia 30477.
