Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death of Mr. Roger Leonard Tessier, Jr., 68, of GA Hwy 171 South, Gibson, who died Monday, August 27, 2018 at his residence.

A  memorial service will be held to honor the life of Roger Leonard Tessier, Jr., Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Griffin Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Stewart officiating.

A native of Lawrence, MA Roger was the son of Roger Leonard Tessier, Sr., and Gertrude Gallant Tessier. He was a self-employed electrician for more than 40 years.

Mr. Tessier was preceded in death by his father, Roger Leonard Tessier, Sr.,  and is survived by his beloved wife of over 32 years, Darlene Tessier, of Gibson, his mother, Gertrude Gallant Tessier, Concord N.H., daughters; Annette Pena, Jessie Jannacone, and Dawn Tessier, sons;  Roger Tessier III, Tom Durand, and George Tessier, sisters; Linda Yuill, Anne Noyes, Bonnie Tessier, Pam Stultz and Lisa Tessier, brother, Chris Tessier, 14 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Care of Gibson is in charge of arrangements.
