Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Wayne Norris, age 70, of Bastonville Road Gibson who died Saturday morning August 31, 2019 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Monday September 2, 2019 in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Madison Bolton, Eddie Marsh, Troy Hadden, Michael Esarey, R. C. Smith and Ricky Smith.
A native of Gibson, Mr. Norris was a son of the late George Norris & Sallie Mae Norris. He retired from Thrifty Auto Parts after more than 30 years as Parts Manger.
Wayne is survived by son & daughter in-law, Brett & Crystal Norris of Gibson, daughters & son in-laws, Alecia & Mike Esarey, Fort Walton Beach, FL., Brooke & Paul Alaniz of Lynana, SC., brothers & sisters in-law, GT & Hazel Norris of Winnsboro, SC., James & Catherine Norris of Sandersville, 5 grandchildren, Lil Brett Norris, Sallie Anne Norris, Bekka & Alex Walicke, Ian Smith, & Emma Smith, sons he thought of as his own, Tommy Johnson, Dennis Bazemore & Bubbie Simmions, several nieces & nephews, care givers, Wanda Smith, Christian Powell, Barbara Bazemore & Julia Stevenson.
The Norris family will receive friends 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Monday prior to the services at the funeral home.
Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Gibson is in charge of arrangements.
