Diana Lee Templeton

Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death of Mrs. Diana Lee Templeton, age 73 of Calhoun Street, Gibson who died Wednesday morning January 1, 2020 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held in the Jordon Chapel Church of God in Edghill on Saturday, January 4. 2020 at 2:00 PM with Rev. David O. Jones & Rev. Brian Fulmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Isaac J. Wood, Jr., Christian Cole Wood, Joshua Lane Wood, Reese Mack, Stevie Martin, Jr., & Ellis Martin.

Diana was a native of Portland, OR, but had lived in Gibson several years. She retired from Levi Strauss & company after several years of service as a seamstress. Mrs. Templeton was a member of Jordon Chapel Church of God where her greatest loves were her Lord and her family.

She is survived by, daughters, Hannah Louis & Lonnie Schaffer, of Calipetric, CA, Cheryl Ann & Allen Schaffer of Calipetric, CA, Isaac J. & Kimberly Wood Sr., of Gibson, GA, Rachel Lee and Reese Mack of Jacksonville, FL, Kimberly Elizibeth Bessent of Walterboro, SC, Melisa Templeton of Calipetric, CA, Richard Vernon & Linda Wood of Wrens, GA, Jenifer Wood of Calipetric, CA, Steven Wade Wood of Jacksonville, FL, 25 grandchildren and 33 greatgrandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 3, at the funeral home.
