Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Paul Douglas “Doug” Price, Jr., age 56 of Gibson who died Monday morning June 20, 2022, at his residence.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 23, at 11:00 am in the Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Homes Gibson with Rev. Ed Chance officiating. Burial will follow in the Gibson City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jared Price, Will Price, Lyle Watkins, Auston Coxwell, Vick Lyons and Jess Reid.

Mr. Price was a native of Augusta but had lived most of his life in Gibson.  He was a son of Paul D. Price and Judy Dale Walden Price.  He was a member of Gibson community church and had worked for Air Balance in Wrens and worked for the city of Gibson as a water works supervisor.

Doug was predeceased by a brother Greg Price and a sister Angela Coxwell.  He is survived by his parents Paul and Dale Price, sister Judy Price, brother Chris Price (Jessica) all of Gibson, several nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, June 22, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Taylor Funeral Home Gibson.
