Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Joseph Van Williams, 40, of Bartow, husband of Heather Raines Williams, died Saturday, April 17, 2021. A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Saturday, April 24, 2021 in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home, Louisville with Rev. Abraham Gibbons officiating.
A native of Atlanta, Joseph grew up in Forsyth, was the son of Debbie Witt Krysak (James) of Bolingbroke and Ronnie Williams of Forsyth. He attended Mary Persons High School in Forsyth and attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Louisville, with his family. At the time of his death, he was a forklift operator for Battle Lumber Company in Wadley but spent most of his working life as a chef and was well recognized in his field.
A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife, sons, Aiden Anthony and Noah Francis, all of Bartow, his parents, brother, Ryan Williams of Perry, grandparents, Jerry and Dianne Williams of Williamson, father and mother-in-law, Thad and Lora Raines of Wadley, sister-in-law, Rebecca Dallavalle, multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, a nephew, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Taylor Funeral Home, Louisville, 12:00PM until 2:00PM prior to the service.
