Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Lester “Ray” Bryant, Jr., 59, of Old Highway 1, Wadley, who died Tuesday, September 21, 2021, in the Jefferson Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 25, 2021, in Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Keener officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Cooper, Kyle Edenfield, Aaron Horton, Aaron Pina, Jason Roberts, Jacob Stickle, JP Williams, & Robert Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Allen Veal, Gary Smith, Gene Smith, & Tim Lumpkin.

Ray was native of Macon and moved to Wadley in 1978. He was a 1980 graduate of Thomas Jefferson Academy. He married the love of his life Cindy Wilson on September 23, 1983. He was employed with Troncalli as a wholesale parts rep. Ray was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he was also a Deacon.

Ray, affectionately known as “Big Daddy” is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Cindy Bryant of Wadley, daughter and son, Amanda & Shaun Jones of Davisboro, son and daughter, Kyle & Charlie Bryant of Wadley, grandchildren, Hadassah Jones, Abigail Jones, Stephen Jones, Benjamin Jones, Bryar Bryant, Titus Jones, Chanan Jones, brother, Randy (Laura) Garrett of Macon, many friends, family, and church family.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 24, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the family’s home, 5528 Old US 1, Wadley, GA 30477.
