Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and services of Mr. Ralph Clint Prescott, Sr., age 88 of Gibson who died Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held, 2:00 PM Saturday July 3, 2021, in Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Gibson, with Rev. James McCullum officiating. Graveside services will be held in the Satilla Memorial Gardens 2119 Broxton Rd Douglas, GA 31533.

A native of Douglas, Mr. Prescott was one of eleven children born to the late Emmet Prescott and the late Allie Mae Prescott. Ralph was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Before retirement Ralph worked at Plant Hatch as a maintenance worker. He attended several churches in the area and was a member of the American Legion in Wrens. He enjoyed playing music and writing songs. What he enjoyed most of all was spending time with his family.

Mr. Prescott was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, stepdaughter, Betty White Head, brothers, Simmie Prescott, Lynnwood Prescott, sisters, Maggie Prescott Spires Altmam, Eva May Prescott Millington, Helen Prescott Davis, Inella Prescott Davis and is survived by his wife Elizabeth Prescott, sons, Clint Prescott, Marcus (Tina) Prescott, daughters, Renee (Andy) Allen & Julie Prescott, step children, Kathy (Keith) Morris & Eddie (Kathie) Usry, grandchildren, Amy Prescott, Mandy Yawn, Kaitlyn Davis, Ken Prescott, Adam Moore, Virginia (Adam) Smelts, Elisa Morris, Audra Morris, Ben Whitehead, Wesley Whitehead, Jenna Hood, Melissa Guidry and Michael Russell, great grandson, Ambrose Lovecraft, brother, Roy (Virginia) Prescott, sister Sara Prescott Stewart, several nieces nephews and many friends.

The Prescott family will receive friends 12:30 to 2:00 Saturday July 3, 2021, at the funeral home.
