Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and services of Mrs. Sherry Lucille Edwards, 53, of Steephollow Road., Gibson, who died August 5, 2020.
Memorial services will be Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Gibson, at 3:00 PM with Rev. W.A. Edwards. Family and friends may visit an hour prior to the service. Due to the family’s concern for public health and safety during this pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is encouraged.
Sherry was the daughter of the late Glen Miles and Mildred Edwards, and the wife of late Michael Ray Edwards. During her life she worked in construction, as a security guard, and a lunchroom worker for Glascock County Consolidate School. She was also a member of Gibson Church of God and Bethel United Methodist Church in Gibson.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her son, & daughter-in-law, Glenn & Jordan Edwards of Gibson and son, Steven Wilson III of Savannah, daughter, & son-in-law Christian & Michael Price JR., sister and brother-in-law, Kathy & Dave Alford, of Savannah, granddaughters, Penelope Edwards, Haley Collins, & Whitney Collins, grandsons, Jacob Collins, Jeremy Collins, Michael Collins, Steven Wilson, IV., Trey Collins, several nieces, nephews, and friends.
