Dr. Murray took care of me when I was a small child and I always thought of him fondly. He also took care of my grandparents, Will and Annie Blackstone, for many years. He was a wonderful and caring physician. Many years later I had the pleasure of working with him at Doctors Hospital. He will be missed greatly. I would like to express my deepest sympathies to his family

I was saddened to learn of Lamar's passing. A wonderful family friend, he and my Mother (Lib Dinkins Anderson) were on the Charter Board of Directors at Burke Academy. He cared for all of Burke County including my family and has earned a special place in HEAVEN! My warmest regards to all of his family especially Carol on his passing!

Words can not express how sorry I am for your loss, but please know, I have been and will continue to pray for you all during this very difficult time. I, as well as so many others, will miss "Doc" very much. I will forever be thankful for all that he did for me, especially the support, guidance & motivation he gave me from day one of my entering nursing school, throughout my nursing career. Words are not sufficient to express my sadness. I had not seen Dr. Murray in years, but the love and trust I had for him as a patient and friend will stay with me.
